Advanced First Aid

Industrial First Responder Training in First Aid

A 421 - page, full color text providing comprehensive and advanced coverage of First Aid and CPR. This program is suited for advanced skill levels, with a time frame of  48 hours. Emergency / Safety Response Teams, Safety & Health Professionals and Public Safety Officials will find this text appropriate. This course will exceed all OSHA First Aid guidelines.

While the timeframe will be set up by your company, a recommended timeframe for training would be to divide up the course into Six - 8 hour classes, conducted one day a week for 6 weeks. 

At the end of the Advanced First Aid Course the student will participate in a live exercise consisting of several company employees made up with simulated injuries. This is known as a multi casualty moulage drill. Each student that completes the Advanced First Aid Course will receive a First Aid Certification good  for 3 years as well as a CPR Certification good  for 2 years.

Three additional moulage drills are also included in the cost of the program. It is recommended these be conducted at 6 month intervals after completion of the course. These will assist with continuing education needed to maintain and update skills learned.
